FAQ
We hope these gentle answers help during a tender time. If you do not see your question here, please reach out on the contact page—we would be honored to listen and walk beside you.

- What if my pet dies at home?
- We are so sorry you are going through this. We are here around the clock for removals and to answer questions—please call whenever you need us. If you prefer, you are welcome to bring your companion to us at 770 West 200 North Unit 1.
- What if my pet companion dies in the evening, during the night, or on the weekend?
We answer the phone twenty-four hours a day, every day of the week. Call us with any question—we can arrange gentle care and removal from your home or your veterinarian's office. When you call, sharing your companion's name, estimated weight, type, and breed helps us prepare to treat them with the tenderness and dignity they deserve.
If you need to keep your companion at home until the next business day, our Pet Loss Counselors offer these gentle suggestions:
- Wrap them in a favorite blanket or bed, and hold them close if it brings you comfort.
- Lay them on a leak-proof sheet or blanket, or tuck plastic beneath the nose or tail if needed—fluids are a natural part of this time.
- Rest them in a cool, quiet place away from other pets, where they can be undisturbed.
- Can I bring my pet to you myself?
- Yes—absolutely. Whatever feels right for your family in this moment is what we want. Many people choose to bring their companion to us themselves, and we welcome you with open arms.
- How does pricing work?
- We know costs can feel heavy when you are already carrying so much. Pricing starts with a base package and adjusts based on your pet’s weight, plus any urn or keepsake options you choose. We will walk through everything gently and clearly before you decide. There is never any pressure.
- How do I care for my pet's remains?
- We treat your companion’s ashes with the same care we would wish for our own. Please leave the sealed bag closed until you are ready to place or scatter them; staying sealed keeps their remains protected from moisture and honors them with dignity. When you scatter, keep the bag sealed until you reach that special resting place. If you would like ashes divided—for example, to keep some at home—tell us before cremation and we will prepare separate bags with care.
- Can my veterinarian help coordinate?
- Yes. We are grateful to work alongside your veterinarian’s team. Clinic partners can visit Contact, choose “For clinics,” and use the form to request pickup and share scheduling details. You can also open the cremation intake form (PDF) (opens in new tab) to print or save copies for your practice.
- What areas do you serve?
- We are honored to care for families in Cache Valley and surrounding communities. If you are unsure whether you are in range, reach out on the contact page—we are glad to help.
